Bennie Steyn is a Psychiatrist with additional registration in the sub-specialty of Child Psychiatry.
After qualifying as a medical doctor (Stellenbosch University 1991), he specialised in Psychiatry at Wits University and the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK, 2003).
He lectured at the Dept of Psychiatry of Stellenbosch University (2004 -2009) and has been in private practice in Stellenbosch since 2009.
He has special interests in the areas of OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Depression, and ADHD. His approach is eclectic and systemic, with an emphasis on family work and psychopharmacology.
